Stay away. Yes they’ll provide you with the policy. But my issue is that I close the policy out and it took Six months for them to process an $833 refund. They provided me with a refund receipt showing money back to my credit card to capital one but yet nothing is posted to capital one in over a weeks time. I’m pretty sure capital one doesn’t make these kind of mistakes. Further I suspect that the company is just floating these different refunds so they can make the money on interest in their bank account! Luck if you use them. I will never use them again.

I see there are some negative reviews from customers regarding the platform change NREIG underwent last year. I had multiple properties insured with them throughout that period. The platform update did temporarily interrupt the online customer experience but for me it only increased the personalized customer service experience with my account advisor. The monthly billing system has always been accurate - to the penny. I am emailed a breakdown of the cost for each property which makes my bookkeeping consistent. I highly recommend NREIG to anyone in the residential real estate investment industry looking for reliable insurance and exceptional service.

Meghan was our rep before Allison, and while I've not worked with her since joining my company, I've only heard the best about her as well. There was a major billing issue last year probably caused by systems merging with ReinsurePro. Upper management was quick to help and easy to work with. If you manage a large portfolio of investment houses and want to deal with Americans, this is the place.
