In my very first message on Zillow, I clearly explained that my main issue is my credit score. They scheduled the tour anyway, but afterward I was told that I still have to submit and pay for an application before the owner will even tell me whether a co-signer or guarantor would be accepted. That doesn’t make much sense to me. I’m expected to pay an application fee just to potentially find out that a co-signer isn’t allowed and that I never qualified in the first place. When someone is considering purchasing or paying for something, basic qualifying information should be provided beforehand—not after they’ve already paid a fee. I run a decent size company in Seattle, and if one of my employees goes out to provide a quote, the consultation and estimate are free. More importantly, we would never charge a potential client simply to find out whether we can accommodate their situation. It’s especially interesting considering how much Seattle talks about affordable housing and accessibility, yet simply renting an apartment involves so many criteria, fees, and pieces of information that aren’t disclosed until later in the process. I’m happy to submit an application if I know that a co-signer or guarantor is an acceptable option, but paying first just to find out whether it’s even possible seems unreasonable.

Rob is AWESOME!! He came in to fix our sink and was so friendly and kind. He did a great job and was very good about asking questions and investigating the issue. I will definitely be calling on him again if I have any more issues in the house. Thank you Rob!!

I had a great experience touring the property. Porter was very welcoming, professional, and responsive in answering my questions regarding the application process. They took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I understood important details such as the screening criteria, lease terms, and what to expect after applying. The property itself was well-maintained and matched what was shown in the listing. I also appreciated how transparent and organized the process felt, especially around application requirements and timelines. Overall, it was a smooth and informative tour, and I felt well taken care of throughout the visit.

Tony with RPA maintenance did an amazing job when he got here fixing our main door lock quickly. Would’ve gave a 5 star if it was only for his service but trying to get someone from maintenance to the property took way too long which is not Tony’s fault. The fault goes to property manager who wouldn’t pick up their phone for over an hour and a half while all the tenants in the place remained locked out because the electronic lock on the front door broke down. As a tenant you shouldn’t have to be waiting until 9:30 at night for the the property manager to finally let someone from maintenance to come to the place because they can’t pick up their phone. It took over two and a half hours to get a problem solved that only took maintenance five minutes once they got here.

Heather was amazing! He asked all the right questions to make sure I got just the right apartment! She showed up early to make sure the unit was in tip top shape for my viewing. She followed up the next day with answers for questions I had during the tour. Exactly the kind of service you would expect from a leasing agency.

If you are looking for a studio in walking distance of everything Edmonds, check RPAs available listing at 527 Forsyth Lane. Outstanding for a taste of Edmonds charm, which includes Meghan in front office and Amber in the field - RPA gets 'er done! PS - Maintenance and my building neighbors were 5-star friendly too. 😁🌬🩵🐳🇺🇲 "Love where you live!" 🙏🐑🐑🐑RPA!

Porter was amazing throughout this whole process. From the first showing to getting the lease finalized, he was super responsive, clear, and easy to work with. He made everything feel smooth and stress-free, especially for a first-time renter. Anytime we had questions, Porter was quick to explain things and make sure we felt comfortable moving forward. You can tell he genuinely cares about helping tenants and making the experience positive. Highly recommend working with Porter if you’re looking for a place — great communication, professionalism, and overall great service.
