If this is your property management company, RUN! They will not communicate anything with you. They’ve “scheduled” preventative maintenance inspections multiple times only for no one to show up after I’ve taken multiple days off to accommodate the appointments. Come to find out, they never scheduled any of the appointments. I’ve been asking for pool keys for 3 yrs now, still nothing and no response. Why am I paying for amenities that I can’t even use? They refused to let us do a walk through prior to move in unless we first signed the lease. The house was trashed and wrong color touch up paint all over the entire house. The list goes on and on! I highly recommend finding elsewhere. Specially if you have to deal with Chris or Glen! Completely ridiculous and sad that a business is allowed to operate this way!

We had issue after issue with this company. They typically would only respond to my partner and ignore my texts, calls, and emails when needing assistance. When asked about a package that was delivered after moving out, no one ever got back to us. They did not honor what was agreed upon when I sold the property, nor what they put in text messages to us and rushed us out with little time to complete necessary tasks and then charged us more for cleaning fees, etc. We ended up paying more in the end than agreed upon.

Major lack of communication with property manager. Extreme rush to get us set up, paid, signed and utilities transferred. Once our end was completed it was radio silence. Felt extremely uncomfortable during the move in process. Only communication we ever got was from the agent who couldn’t assist with further needs. Waiting multiple business days for response from property manager (if getting one at all). Not only for move in and potential lease break options but also for simple answers on utilities. Such as if water is included thru the rent portal, etc.. Told multiple times we’d be called by property manager (Chris). 2 direct transfers to Chris’s lines. Never answered those either. With no opportunity for VM.
We kept being told “we’ll hear from Chris as it gets closer as our move in date was weeks ahead of time”.. I’m sorry but waiting weeks to be given a simple update on how it is that utilities work as far as activating water is unacceptable. Especially when you have the separate utility website daily hanging it over my head that my “move in date is starting soon and you still have yet to activate water”.. which we attempted to do but could not as city of Phoenix was a greyed out option.. hence needed the information from Chris on how water needs to be set up/paid.. I had to emphasize numerous times that we were waiting in a response from Chris. It seems no one was on the same page.. between Chris and his agent along with the utility team. Overall a negative experience. We ultimately paid a lease break of 3x rent before we ever even took keys for the property.
And before you respond.. I understand a contract was signed. My issue was never breaking a lease. My issue was getting the answer on what my options weigh.. Chris’s lack of attentiveness, willingness to communicate/take a phone call and obvious care of care of the situation was worth every penny of the lease break.
Take care.

SEE UPDATE BELOW RESPONSE 6.11.26 It’s unfortunate I’ve had to update this review. I have just paid a lease break for a home that I haven’t even moved into yet. Which is NOT the problem here. We dealt with corrina from the beginning and she was great. After approval though, after paying our security deposit is where it all went down hill. I am debating reaching out directly to the owner in the next few weeks as I am connected enough to obtain his address etc. and write him a letter about how bad this experience was and how his management company ended up being the determining factor in us break our lease. My grandfather is dying of cancer and we got some news last minute that initially debated us even moving into the house. So we simply wanted to inquire about what are options were. But make no mistakes as we had to fight to recieve necessary information or decent customer service from Chris Carter, it became obvious that we were not going to feel comfortable with them managing and maintaining house concerns, nor giving them any of our money. His behavior made us feel uneasy and in turn negatively affected the owner of the home as I would’ve rather paid the lease break then dealt with key renter premier for the next year. The only time we actually heard from Chris is when we had to throw fit to get ahold him. The first time we called him, he hung up on us and never called back once. Rather a text that said something to the affect of “what do you want”, after explaining we went a whole nother day without hearing from him. We were clear that we were still weighing our options, and never gave him a hard time about the amount we had to pay. I had to reach out again, and again. I asked for a copy of ly lease. Never got it! Kept receiving emails about utilities, eager to set them up. Never heard anything from Chris, I highly doubt they even reached out to the owner about this when they mentioned they would. Which is fine because I can to ensure he is aware of whom is exactly managing his home… probably the Dud of the property managers that work here.
REVISED RESPONSE- Update-We said Corrina was awesome. Not you. Not Chris. And moreso, we made it clear we were DEBATING our decision due to the critical situation, and just wanted to know our options. Only after the lack of care (communication) by your team we changed our mind completely and knew we didn’t want such poor customer service from your property manager. I just knew I didn’t need something else that was going to make my life harder. (Chris Carter). I just mean that you made an already hard situation HARDER then you needed to that was the cherry on top. That doesn’t change the narrative? Nice try. You can try to twist it but I ALSO have the communications as well. AND Not once did we complain about paying a lease but out in them. We never asked you not to follow the legally binding contract that was signed? We were happy to pay it. We never asked for less? Were you there? You sound kind of silly now. Your just rambling about money when none of our inquiries were about us being upset in away of what we had to pay? Unfortunately for you though we aren’t broke and you weren’t able to treat us poorly and keep us in lease after doing so. lol… We just needed all information which you made difficult to RECIEVE, could only get corrina by phone. My partner an also clarify his experience via review as well and what he meant by such a “great” experience if you’d like. You selling us the home per your leasing agent was the ONLY great experience about this management company. Have a nice day. I see your other reviews are boding well also

We are dissatisfied with the cleanliness of the rental. Be cautious of KeyRenter. Not even cleanliness, it’s not clean at all, it looks like sheets were changed and they tried to clean the bathroom and ran. There are not mattress pads on 2 of the 3 beds, blood stains on the master mattress. We came in to air set on 79 in Scottsdale, we promptly turned it down. It stopped working completely the following day. Thankfully the second ac unit for the bedrooms works very well. In late afternoon and evening kitchen family room and living room is unusable due to the air not working. We brought pizza in to enjoy since we got here late of our first day of our 7 month rental. There were no paper towels to be found, thankfully we had two beverage napkins from our flight, it was so hot in home we ate outside, the outdoor area is the only nice thing I can say about this home. It’s older and that is fine we knew that when we rented, but it is filthy. We are cleaning ourselves after an offer to send cleaning crew back in, we refused because if they didn’t clean it properly the first time, why would they clean it properly when called back. There was hair in both showers and the towels. Urine on the back of seat on toilet. Q-tips on floor in master bath and one of the secondary bedrooms. Master bed mattress has blood and dried wet stains on it. So dusty, they dusted the main items dressers and big main tables and buffet table, our socks and feet were black from the tile floors. 1 and half rolls of toilet paper for the house no garbage bags for the kitchen trash can. Also I’d say 80% of all towels are stained or bleaches as well. I don’t expect to be given supplies for entirety of the stay, but enough so you don’t need to go to store the morning after you arrive. Spent all weekend cleaning and washing all the dishes of a fully furnished rental. I took out all dishes and wiped down cabinets and drawers in kitchen. Even found a garlic clove in one of the kitchen drawers. When we called keyrenter we were told the homeowner is responsible for providing items in the home. The property manager Chris also cut myself and my husband off several times on the phone. And said he personally inspected it and found it reasonable. Well unfortunately we disagree with that. The pans were in such terrible shape we had to go buy a couple pans until ours our are shipped here. It really is unacceptable the condition of the home. Cabinets taped with scotch tape to keep them closed other wise you come back in kitchen and they are open again after closing them. Also microwave and toaster were so greasy from buildup of not being cleaned my fingers stuck to them. They neighborhood is lovely and outside is nice and relaxing just wish inside matched that experience. Like other people that left reviews we felt the excessive fees were overdone as well almost $800 in non refundable fees associated with move in to the property. Hopefully the air conditioning gets fixed soon. Welcome home! Is all I can say. Also was told the the vendors about the lack of mattress pads that we complained very loudly, well yes we did after we felt ignored and that the property manager thinks it is acceptable they way we moved in.

My washing machine went out earlier in the week and within 48 hours I had a brand new Whirlpool.

Update: After 8yrs of owning my property and having it managed by Keyrenter Premier, I'm still super happy! They offer great, no stress service and keep me informed of any issues. Recently I was offered to have my HVAC unit routinely checked in order to avoid costly emergencies... had it done, and fixed a few minor maintenance items on my terms instead of in the middle of the night... all thanks to their proactive methods - if you need a PM, KRP is the way to gooo!!
5-Star all the way!! Jim and his team at Keyrenter Premier, Property Management, has made my life easy to say the least! I live in CA and have a rental property in AZ, which they manage, and they are the utmost professionals. Taking care of the big and little things that come up with a rental property and taking the stress off of me. I was in a unique situation, where I was looking for a property to purchase for rental and it was suggested I ask a Property Management company FIRST about the best options. When I spoke to Jim, he listened, offered great advice, and pointed me in the right direction. I ended up remodeling the property I purchased and asked Jim to give me some contacts and more advice, which he did. By the time he vetted and placed a great tenant, it was just shy of 1yr that we had been working together, yet I only paid once my unit was rented. This is what 'service' is all about! Thank you for being a wonderful and supportive partner in this process and I look forward to many, many more years, and maybe more properties!!
