Looking for a couple of resources

Marek Simon
Posted

Hi... I'd be grateful for suggestions on specific podcasts, articles, or resources related to starting out in real estate investing as it relates to two items:
1- type of entity: do nothing, LLC, S Corp, other

2- finding an accountant who has expertise in real estate investing
Thanks in advance!

Do nothing. You don't need to spend money setting up an LLC until you are wealthy, and that's 10+ houses away.

Same thing with a CPA. You can save taxes with a good accountant, but you need to focus on making money first. Learn the laws. Figure out how to screen applications and manage misbehaving tenants.
