Advice Starting Out

I am a new to the business of real estate and had a quick question. I just graduated college and am eager to start in the business of investment real estate, however I am paying off student loans and a credit card from college so I do not have the capital to begin my own business. While I pay off all my debts and acquire the capital needed to invest in my own property, I thought it would be a good idea to look into a property management job to learn the ins and outs of renting to tenants. The only downside is every job I look into they require some sort of experience regardless of whether its a property manager or an assistant property manager. I am looking to one day begin investing in multifamily units 2-10. I am wondering if there is any advice someone could tell me about breaking into this field or any other job that would be useful in order to learn more about the business. Anything will help….

Hey @Tyler Shantz - I think starting as a PM is a great idea. That's how @Ken McElroy got the ball moving. If you haven't listened to our podcast with him, you should definitely take some time to do so:

I think you'll find it very helpful. Good luck!
