Newbie looking for market research resources

Hi - I'm new to real estate investing and Bigger Pockets.  I've been reading and studying for a few months and ready to take the next steps to try and find a deal.  I live in Denver and struggle with being able to cash flow here so trying to find good resources to research other markets.  Anyone have any good places/resources I should take a look at for market/city info?  Thanks, Paul

@Paul Little What type of returns are you looking for? Do you have specifics? It's easier to give recommendations if you have specific returns that you're looking for.

Personally, I think Denver will provide an overall greater return in the long run, than many of the cheaper cash flow markets when you factor in rent appreciation, property appreciation, etc.

One of my favorite quotes for investing is from Warren Buffet: "It's far better to buy a wonderful company at a fair price than a fair company at a wonderful price."

It's a rule of thumb that applies to my RE investing. I'll buy a fair deal in a wonderful market like Denver rather than buying a great deal in a fair market.

To each his own!

Take @Michael Hastings up on his offer. He and I connected a few weeks ago and he's done his research!
