College kid just starting out

Hey guys,

I am a junior in college at Indiana University. I’ve been really digging into real estate investing and real estate is my co-major as well. It seems like every time I read and learn more, I keep getting overwhelmed and feel like I will never know enough to start out. There is a 9-unit apartment complex close to home that the lady is just trying to get rid of because her husband passed so the numbers are pretty good. Any advice on whether I should really look into making a deal happen? Learning more first? Finishing college?

Thanks!

I am meeting with a very experienced investor on Tuesday that has over 1000 units,  and I’m hoping that he can be a mentor for me. Thanks for your replies on this. Mentorships seems to be crucial for a lot of people in this industry.
