NEW on BP: Sub-Forums for YOUR local area!

You asked... we delivered!

There are now "Sub-Forums" for all 50 states, plus "sub-sub forums" for the largest cities in those states. In other words, if you are investing in the Tacoma, Washington market, you'll be able to have conversations within the Tacoma Washington subforum. This should dramatically help you to take the "online world" to the "real world" and help you find greater success!

You can also "subscribe" to any of these subforums (I recommend you subscribe to all your local ones) so you'll get notified about new threads started within those subforums!

Check out this quick video where I explain the process in under three minutes:

Just posted in my local sub categories. I'm thinking you will end up needing to add Greenville or Upstate, SC as a category.

Can normal users add sub-forums, or do we need to take steps to request additions?

     Hey Brandon,

No user can add sub forums, you'll have to post under the state or most relevant sub-forum listed. Just add your market in the title and hopefully it will catch the right people :)

Great idea! I see a lot of Atlanta posts on the main forums - I expect a lot of traffic on the sub forum. This might be the sign for me to stop lurking and start engaging!

    @Zachary Gwin

    Hi Zachary,

Thanks for following up on my post!  I went ahead and subscribed to the sub-forum that's the closest to the market we focus on.

Serendipity...I was just wondering if there was a way to connect to investors in my area.

Is there a way to bookmark pages in BP?

    Thank you :-)

Great idea.  Since Orange County is rather large in scale we need another sub group.  I know Karen has a group about an hours drive from me, on a good day of traffic. Is there another group around the Cypress, Garden Grove, Stanton, Buena Park, Westminster, Huntington Beach area?

No there isn't. For now, you'll just have to be specific and mention the area you're talking about when you post under Atlanta.

Maybe in the future we will have sub-sub forums :)

Are you guys going to make sub forums for big cities in Canada as well? More and more Canadians are joining the site

     Emin,

We only have two large cities.  Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg and MTL are only really big in the context of Canada ;-)

You can use the "follow" button / link to monitor activity in any topic. You can also use the "subscribe" checkbox on any of the forums to receive notifications of activity therein.
