Can Video Ads Be Turned Off?

Can there PLEASE be an option to turn off the video ads on the forums?

They eat up TONS of CPU and memory (64-bit Windows with 4GB RAM) and often cause the browser to lock up (Google Chrome - BP doesn't work right in IE11 anymore).

...although, it's been educational using Windows Task Manager and watching how long it takes all the stub processes to run down after you close Chrome...

Hey @David Dachtera - We thought they were turned off and I just checked a few minutes ago and noted that they were back on for some reason.  I've again shut the ads off.  Give it a few hours, and if you are still seeing them, please let me know.

We do not want those invasive and distracting ads to show on the site.  They damage the user experience -- something I'm not fond of.

I appreciate you saying something.
