Mobile home / room rent

Hey BP, today April, 25th I found out my W2 employer is cutting my pay drastically after working with them over 10+years. I may have gotten that analysis paralysis and also been gathering knowledge. This is one tough market, but who knows what will happen. I’ve been listening to the BP now for over 1yr now and gotten familiar with house strategies. By the looks of the current market, I would only be able to afford a mobile home. Something under 100k or 120max.  (That’s the cheapest compared to a 300k+ home if I’m lucky). With the news received today, I’m ready to get out of the transportation industry and into the real estate empire.

Thank you BP.

Angel

@Angel Tovar Sorry to hear about this. That's the problem with an employer sometimes. They will cut your pay but won't cut your hours so you either end up working for a lot less or forced to move. A similar issue happened to a friend of mine where they lowered his salary by 25%. He stayed there and a year later was pushed out. Only you know if they are essentially asking you to leave or not.

CA is a tough state to live in and even harder to be a landlord. If possible, consider other states/cities that you could move to and be happy in. Maybe Las Vegas as it's not terribly far and much cheaper than most of CA. It is easier said that done but right now, I am sure you are even more motivated than before.
