Quick question on decision I'm researching.  So still new to real estate and due to my situation my dad and I have agreed to work together (him being credit, me being down payment and pretty much everything else.) Question: He is in Topeka I am in alaska not a ton of options here but not impossible. We would like small multifamily for our first time buy but where would be easiest to start looking?  I am in the army so will probably be leaving here in round 18 months give or take.  Thanks.

Try to network with investors on the ground, ie meet ups etc

No point re inventing the wheel, find out who is making it happen and piggy back on this
