I've been seeing auctions listed and some fsbo

for prices from 5k to 500K, its very confusing

not sure where to start looking? any advice?

A house for $5000 is probably a shell in a war zone , and a $ 500,000 house is turn key in a nice neighborhood .  And these 2 houses could be 2 blocks apart from each other in Balto .
