Hi all,

Does anyone have any experience w/Gene Guarino's course, or recommendations for books on how to start a residential assisted living business?

Thank you!

Amy

Amy i also took Gene's online course (never the live) and left with a completely different experience. I didn't have a chance to do the live course but I feel i learned enough to propel me into opening a house (which I ended up doing so in Phoneix). I didn't expect it to be a "hand everything down to me" sort of course and yes there is definitely some upsell into trying to get you to attend a live course, but that is no reason to let you stop you from learning the model if you are truly interested in getting into RALs. My recommendation is use the course and continue to learn from the numerous online videos provided by both Gene and others in this space. Gene also has a weekly podcast series that covers different topics in this field. If  you are interested in doing the online course, i'll tell you more that will be worth your time. Thanks!
