Can LLCs get conventional loans?

I'm new to investing in real estate for rentals.  I have a primary residence and would like to protect it and my family from liabilities.  I would also like to finance my first investment with a conventional loan.

Are there lenders who allow financing using my credit, but own it thru an LLC? Are there other options? What are the requirements on the condition or value of the property to get a conventional loan?

Thank you

Nope.  Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac's rules don't allow lending to entities.

There are, however, portfolio lenders who will have similar terms and will lend to LLCs.  Terms will be shorter than 30 years, though.  Fifteen or maybe 20 years.
