Open Minded In Need Of Investment Experience

Hi everybody,

I'm currently transitioning out of the military and I've been reading up a lot on real estate investing and believe I'm ready to get my feet wet. I was wondering if anybody in the San Diego area would be willing to meet up at a local Starbucks to have a cup of coffee and discuss the ins and outs of the business. I'd be more than willing to just sit there and take notes and absorb any and everything that you have to say regarding the do's and don't of real estate investing. I'm interested in buy and hold real estate and would like to know everything I can before I jump in and invest in my first deal. This is not an invitation for solicitation, just a way to network and be taught anything that could better myself.

R,

Jairmiya St. Hilaire

@Jairmiya St. Hilaire

First off thank you for your time spent in service!

Secondly, I recommend looking up local REI clubs, going to various networking events, and read the information on this site. Between all of that, you should start leaning towards the right direction. When I did those very things mentioned, I was able to identify what kind of real estate investing I wanted to do, shadow the right people, and eventually branch out on my own.

Hope this helped.
