House Hacked into a 4-Plex and currently renovating. Split entry access and it currently has carpet - which needs to go! What are the best flooring options? I’ve been considering vinyl.

(Live in AK so it needs to be durable to the elements.)

If possible, I would stick with a nice cement floor. You can even stain it to add color and hide flaws. If that's not an option, I would go with a commercial grade vinyl plank. You'll pay more, but it will hold up to the traffic and last much longer.
