How to request official military documentation from the tenant -Legally

  1. How do we legally request official military documentation from the tenant, such as their orders or military ID card. This clause should specify the purpose of the request and how the documentation will be used. Do you have a template you could share?

Your question is too vague. What documentation do you need and what is the purpose of the request?

If you are screening their application, you can do so with driver's license and pay stubs like you would anyone else.

If the tenant claims to be military and has to break their lease early because they will be stationed somewhere else, then a copy of their Permanent Change of Station (PCS) orders would suffice.

Help us help you.
