I have an applicant for an unit who has nontraditional employment. They are a stripper.  I have been able to verify they work at the place they say...

Do i consider the application?

Never dealt with this before...Suggestions?

The only people who I will not rent to based on their employment are lawyers (and others in the legal profession, paralegals, judges, etc.) and cops--they know the system and know how to work it. If the income is not documented I will not use it in my screening. The other issue that is very important is collectability. A high income makes it more likely that a tenant can pay the rent but if they don't pay the rent you will be glad you paid attention to collectability. An applicant with a long job history at the same place is less likely to quit the job even if they leave your property. An applicant that works at a major corporation or a public employer (hospital, library, etc.) is great--their employers will be easy to serve and will comply with wage garnishment orders.
