Colorado Landlords I encourage you to read up on HB19-1118.  Your State Representatives will soon be voting on this.  This will significantly increase the amount of time it takes to evict a problem tenant.  please reach out to your Representatives. https://leg.colorado.gov/bills/hb19-1118

UGH!  So in my business, this just limits the amount of time I'll try to "work with" the tenant to cure the payment issue.  I usually try to see what I can do with them for about 10 days, then if we get nowhere, I file the eviction.

Now I'll just have to file right away, then try to work with them and see where we are at day 14.

Bleah.
