Purchase of 1890 duplex
Am about to purchase my first REI. This is a duplex which was built in 1890. Am not sure if i should be concerned with the year in which the property was built? Will this affect me in anyway when the time comes for me to refinance the property? Your suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I once lived in a house in Germany that was built in 1460. It's the quality of build that matters, not the age. You also have to consider if any renovations were done. How old is the sewer? Plumbing? Electrical? Roof? Insulation? Lots of things to consider but I wouldn't be dissuaded just on the age alone.
