My rental property has section 8 tenants as a new owner of the property what measures or steps do I have to take and follow

Have you closed? Did you have an Assignment of Lease
Document signed? If so the process is simpler. As @Tracy Streich said, notify the Housing Authority ASAP so payments don’t go to the old owner.
