@Mindy Jensen sounds like some of the places I have seen in Fort Collins.  There are definitely positives and negatives to a college town. :)

I viewed a home that had even more beer cans (well, bottles actually, along with hundreds of Jack Daniels bottles) up in Fort Collins. A pizza box tower that was in the middle of the floor, no idea how he kept getting more on top.

The piece de resistance was the 10 years worth of whiskers piled into one of the two sinks in the master bathroom. It was taller than the sides of the sink.

No feces though.

Adam Martin: I agree. It would take a lot of work to balance while hovering over that location. I have to wonder why thy didn't just opt for the tub like so many other trash tenants do. Perhaps they enjoyed an evening soak next to the tower of poop-sa?

I am most impressed in the described 4 foot leaning tower of poop-sa described in the article as that takes a level of commitment and determination you wouldn’t expect a person leaving behind that kind of mess would have.  I feel bad for the landlord but this just serves as a warning to always do your inspections, if the tenant is hesitant there is a reason.  No well person would want to live like this and I suspect some kind of mental issues going on hopefully he gets help and the landlord can get some sort of compensation.
