Short term rental prominence

Short Term Rentals

- Short term rentals are becoming increasingly more prominent in the las vegas valley with the recent ordinance passed, while being more prominent it does pose some setbacks with the certain rules in place.

-Prohibits more than one short-term rental within 1,000 feet of each other.

-Hosts must allow the County to inspect the residential units without advance notice.

-Allow misdemeanor citations for violations of this ordinance, thus opening the possibility of criminal liability for issues as minor as the placement of trash.

With all that being said there is plenty of opportunity to capitalize on the market for STR's in vegas with it being such a tourist city.

Things don't tend to get more STR friendly so it could get even worse down the road at some point. Might be better to get out of any STR'S in this area while you can still get a decent price for them and invest in better areas.
