How difficult it is to get Toledo STR permit? Do they accept aircover from airbnb as the required insurance for the application?

Hey @Aron Trav, so I can't speak to the ease of getting a permit but I guarantee they won't accept Aircover as insurance, because it isn't.

You need a specialized STR policy from Proper, Foremost and many others who offer them. Regular home owners insurance won't cut it either.

AirCover is a dubious benefit. I have had decent luck with it paying out for guest damages but others have not. it is NOT insurance. It is a policy that might cover some damage, but if you have a fire, flood, tree fall on it etc, they don't cover that.

The bank won't recognize it either. Make sure you have correct insurance coverage for a short term rental.
