Airbnb limits regarding emails

Mike Lattier
Posted

It has been a common practice in the past to capture guest emails through StayFi or when a guest signs your lease agreement through your PMS.  Obviously, those emails can be used to direct market.  Is it now risky to use a guest's email to solicit a future direct booking?  How is the industry looking at these new regs from Airbnb?

I don't see a problem with marketing to past guest to try and get direct bookings.

I see a problem with inquiries from an OTA that you try to steal from the OTS and book direct.
