Identify verification and guest check-in form

Hi all

Have any of you used Identity verification platform (like Checkin, Authenticate or Enso Connect) for short term rentals? What is your compliance? Did you have any cancelations due to the process?

I have a short term rental in Indianapolis and recently had a cancellation due to the Identity verification.

Also, in only a few situations I had guests that comply 100% with the identity verification. Other guests requested to do a manual check-in.

I have a similar question related to guest check-in form. By Indiana Code, it is required to collect guest information and retain

at least one year after the year of occupancy (per IC 16-41-29-3). If you have an Airbnb in Indianapolis or Indiana, have you implemented this practice?

I just get them to send me a picture of their DL. Don't overthink it.
