Located in the Northeast, weather is a big concern amongst other things that could damage a house not occupied 100%. As we scale up the number of properties we are managing, we have been looking for a good all in one system to keep a better eye on things like: leaks, break ins, power outages, temperature, surveillance and keyless entry.

We have tried ADT, Reolink, Nest (which constantly becomes dislodged and leaves us vulnerable) and Govee. Having a variety of systems definitely makes things more complicated. It would be great to hear what others are using for remote monitoring and if there’s a way to consolidate to one system instead of having multiple programs/logins.

Hi @Account Closed, I have a Z wave connected Sensi thermostat that provides remote management. I also have a couple of iHome sensors. They basically monitor temps, humidity, light and sound. I can set alerts on either one. Essentially the iHomes are another reference to make sure the thermostat is registering correctly.

I haven't installed a water leak monitor. In north Idaho, temps often get down to the teens and sometimes below zero. All of our pipes are in insulated and heated space with the exception of the 2 outside silcocks which are covered with insulated pod things.

I will be adding a Z Wave enabled automatic water shut off to mitigate the possibility of a water line break.

I have heard some good things about the Simplisafe. They have a wide variety of sensors and I think they all report through the cellular Simplisafe system. Worth a look.
