New Member looking to start in Brevard county FL

Hi everyone,

I am new to flipping but have owned a multi unit property before, and have owned multiple properties for about ten years. I am looking to relocate to Brevard county FL from the Tampa area and would like to start flipping houses. I have been working with a realtor who has me focused in Palm Bay, but I am open to anything in the area. She has me focused there because I am looking to stay below 100k on my first deal there, but I know those opportunities exist in Melbourne and other areas also. I would like to find REO agents to work with but am also open to wholesalers and direct marketing. I am interested in joining any reia groups in the area and becoming involved in the investor community as much as I can. Anyone in or around Brevard county please feel free to contact/add me I would love to hear from you and any thoughts/advice you have on the area.

Hey Greg, welcome to the area. I'm a buy and hold investor and a Realtor in the area. I'm mainly looking for buy and hold deals but I would love to get together sometime and talk about investing.

I have been attending a meetup in Palm Bay.  @Priscilla Z. is our point of contact.  We get together every two weeks, and quite a variety of experience is represented.

@Greg Budalich Welcome to BP! I'm a realtor and investor in Brevard county. I also attend the meetup that Kerry mentioned. It's a good group of folks.

There's lots of competion in Palm Bay under $100k. Many flippers are willing to work off small margins, driving the price up. Feel free to reach out if I can help you in any way.

@Greg Budalich - Hi Greg, we would love to have you in Palm Bay! :) :) :)  Honestly Palm Bay is big enough for all of us.  If you want to stay under 100K and have a good resale market then my opinion is that Palm Bay is the place to be.  Melbourne, West Melbourne and the beaches are all great, but they aren't as big as Palm Bay and they are more expensive.  We are still able to find fix and flip houses here in Palm Bay for around 60K and resell them for 105-115K.

Feel free to join us at our next meeting.  Send me a message and I'll give you the date, time and place.  It won't be for a few weeks, so if you are in the area and want to meet with me and my partner for coffee or lunch to talk real estate and the market let me know and we can get together before then.

In the meantime, if we can be of any help (@Kerry Baird , @Scott Schuetz ) please don't hesitate to contact us.

@Tomas Calvino - HI! :)  Didn't want to leave you out! LOL

@Greg Budalich Welcome to Brevard County!  It's an awesome place to live and work.  I am a Realtor as well as an active flipper.  I have not done projects in Palm Bay as of yet, but it does seem like the most likely market to do a project under 100k.  If you have any questions I'd be glad to answer them.  Good luck!
