Quick introduction... Jeremy Goodman from the Greater Metro Detroit area (suburbs right in the middle of Ann Arbor and Detroit). I'll be honest I was a little gun shy to get my first post (joined several weeks ago). Friend recommended BiggerPockets, and I've been listening to the podcasts ever since. Newbie to real estate investing. Interested in buy and hold. Mostly learning as much as I can right now between reading and listening to the podcasts. Looking forward to connecting more going forward.

@Simon Ruiz it's going well so far! I grew up in Ann Arbor, so it will always have a fond place in my heart. The biggest pro I see of Ann Arbor is the school system, which has a fantastic reputation. I think Ypsi is a great community to go to as a near by, much more affordable, option. There are a lot of great things going on in Yspi. It just seems like Ypsi and Eastern Michigan University are often overshadowed because Ann Arbor and University of Michigan are 20 min away.
