Newbie From Santa Cruz, CA
Hello BiggerPockets members. I am a newbie from Santa Cruz, CA. My interest is in Commercial Real Estate.
My name is Ulisses. I am a certified Toyota Technician looking to reach financial freedom and keep growing. For 26 year of my life I have always lived in apartments. For at least 20 of those years my parents have been property managers. I got a taste on what it takes to manage apartments and I got to see what 18k+ looks like monthly. Three years ago my parents purchased their first home. Going through the processes with my parents, made me realize that my dreams of owning apartments is not impossible. I am currently a full time technician and on my days off, or afterwork. I read and try to gain as much knowledge about CRE. I have attended several "Meetups", so that I can learn from experience people. About to weeks ago I met a CEO who introduced me to BiggerPockets.
