Hello, everybody. I am brand new to this, and I am as green as they get as far as real estate investing. I am 34 years old. I live in northern michigan. I work 50 hours a week at my job doing cnc manufacturing work. I am about to sell my house due to a divorce and I am looking to use that money to start investing in real estate. I plan to get 80k from the sale of the house once things are final.

Highly recommend buying a 2-4 unit and house hacking it. Great way to start an investing journey with the renter's help towards the mortgage. I'm house hacking a duplex right now and once I move out, it'll be putting a little bit of cash in my pocket every month after expenses.
