So few REI's in Dutchess county NY

I'm a relative newbie on BP and I don't see many post from the NY area, especially Dutchess and Westchester counties.

Welcome newbie @Steven Burrows . There are a lot of members from the NYC area. In fact if you want to see how many live near you they just introduced a new tool under the Network tab above. Go to Network and scroll down to find members. Over to the right you're now able to search members by ZIP code. You'll be able to see how many members are in your area based upon a radius of your ZIP code. Be sure to watch for local BP meetups. They're abound!
