The market value of Tesla is 89 billion. Market value of GM is 50 billion and Ford is 37 billion. Tesla is worth more than GM and Ford combined. Thank goodness for Austin being a business friendly city!!! 

YUP Tesla is going to change the automotive world no doubt.. 

i am starting to add  EV charging out lets in my spec homes garages.. and I tell folks you may not need it now.. but in the next 10 years virtually everyone will have at least one EV.  

@Aaron Gordy and both tunneling project rumors and filed permits for battery production is likely foreshadowing of even more growth for the area.  

My vote was entirely for the pun though.  

@Jay Hinrichs I completely agree on adding the EV charging ports in garages from now on. It doesn't cost much at all and I do believe you'll see a huge percentage of EV's within 10 years. Especially here in Austin!
