monies owed

Posted

I was recently contacted by a company who claims that they have found $4500.00 of money that is owed to me, but they will not state where I can find it because they want 33.33%. I need the money more than they do. They claim that it is not state unclaimed funds. I have invested in several different counties in properties, and am unsure where to begin my search. I have recently sold property in 3 counties, 2 in California, and one in Colorado. How do I find this money? I have contacted the tax assessor, and no luck. Can anyone help me please?

I'd go back over your personal accounts and transactions for the last few years and look for anything that might have generated a payment. Ultimately, you may just have to pay them. $3000 is a lot better than nothing. Now, if they want their $1500 (or anything) up front, its a scam.
