West Village 2-unit - Reliable Contracts & Property Mgrs

Good evening Everyone - 

I'm going to be in town the weekend of 12/18 to close on a 2-unit in West Village. I'm looking to sink some money into the kitchens and bathrooms to upgrade and wanted to see if anyone can recommend a reliable crew of contractors you've worked with who can meet me that weekend to go over the scope of the project for an estimate. Also, I'm looking for property management referrals if you have any in mind.

Lastly, I have a few in mind, but it would also be helpful if anyone can recommend good appliance warehouses in the greater Detroit area.  I'm looking to replace most all the kitchen appliances.

Hey Manny,

Congrats on your deal! I will be using Propel Property Management after I close (fingers crossed) on my deal in Warren. Logical Property Management is top notch as well. @Drew Sygit has a great blog. Both would be able to help line up contractors for you. As for appliances the Detroit Land Bank lists Sam's Appliances but I've never dealt with them and their website's security cert is expired. I haven't looked in to any others yet.
