Detroit Wholesaling (Virtual) - FIRST TIMER

Hey BP Family!

I've been on the platform for some time soaking up knowledge and finally feel ready to begin my RE career with wholesaling. I'm based in NY but looking to wholesale in Detroit (specifically around the West Side). I've got a ton of personal contacts in the greater metro area so I feel confident about having "boots on the ground" to help out when needed.

I'm ready to start generating leads but wanted to see if I could connect with any other Detroit wholesalers, investors, lawyers, etc. who are also in the industry and might have some advice for a first-timer.

I'm also actively looking for a Detroit-based JV partner ready to close some deals!

Virtual wholesaling in Detroit no impossible but very ambitious. I'm a local investor with many ties to both sides but word of the wise that me and several investors hate. Are the JV daisy chain wholesalers. We often see 3-5 people marketing the same property with their own assignment fees . These so called JV agreements rarely works out and the deals often fall through because the closing has so many unnecessary people tied in. Don't want to discourage but get input of the investors . More and more are keeping away from the daisy chain wholesale assignments
