Hey BP Community!

After doing a ton of research I have some serious interest in getting involved in mobile home investing. I've read about the ROI and spread on some of these deals and feel like this is a great niche to concentrate on, especially in the Houston market!

I've already read both of Lonnie Scruggs' books (Deals on Wheels + Making Money w/ Mobile Homes) so I've got a good understanding of the basics but I haven't done my first deal yet. I'm eager to get started.

I'll be moving to Houston in a few weeks from NY and I would love to connect with others in the mobile home investing space! I'm eager to get started and learn more.

@Travis Biziorek - totally totally agree, thanks for the input! Would love to stay in contact to see if I might be able to assist with some properties as well.

These are all great notes and things I'll be sure to consider. Thanks all!

@Keyonte Summers - thanks for the advice, definitely noted!

I would love to avoid multiple parties involved and would prefer to work with the seller + buyer directly myself so I'll be sure to avoid additional people when at all possible.

May I ask how you decipher between easy to work with wholesalers and those that aren't? Just so I know what I should be aware for myself.

Thanks for responding!

Hey BP Family!

I've been on the platform for some time soaking up knowledge and finally feel ready to begin my RE career with wholesaling. I'm based in NY but looking to wholesale in Detroit (specifically around the West Side). I've got a ton of personal contacts in the greater metro area so I feel confident about having "boots on the ground" to help out when needed.

I'm ready to start generating leads but wanted to see if I could connect with any other Detroit wholesalers, investors, lawyers, etc. who are also in the industry and might have some advice for a first-timer.

I'm also actively looking for a Detroit-based JV partner ready to close some deals!

Post: Looking For Hospitality Investment Knowledge

Hey There BP!

I'm a digital media producer by day and have a had a serious itch to get into real estate for some time now. After some serious thought and speaking with folks in the industry, I decided to branch into hospitality and I am looking to open a specialty boutique hotel in the Detroit metropolitan area! More specifically, a tiny house hotel!

I've got a thorough business plan that's been through the ringer, so I'm interested in starting to chat with folks about how to bring something like this to fruition.

I'm looking to speak with anyone familiar with commercial real estate and hospitality investments, specifically with respect to Detroit.

Any advice is also welcome! Thank you!!
