The closing on this property is July 28, The City of Austin sent a letter to the current owner that says such house can not be sold or lease until the violations are corrected. The corrections must be made before the closing date. Is it my responsibility to make this correction?

Why not remedy the problem and lower the price of the contract by the cost to fix the problem? Then do it.
