House Inspector in Syracuse?

Question

I am looking for a quality house inspector in the Syracuse area (Liverpool)?  We use Warren Engineering in Rochester but cant find a comparable company in Syracuse. Thoughts? Any help is appreciated.

thanks to all for your suggestions and input, I do appreciate the effort.  We found someone in Syracuse that we are going to try from Absolute Home Inspection.  I'll let you know how it goes!

Hi @Alan Diamond, I always use Bob Sterner of CNY Home Pro. He has done 3 SFH and a triplex for us in the past year and I am very happy with his work and price. PM me if you want a copy of one of the reports and his contact info. What part of Liverpool? We are closing on a triplex in the village next month.

Hello gentlemen.

I made my 1st purchase in Syracuse a bit over a year ago (I've also lived there for several years). I absolutely respect rolling with your trusted team of professionals, as I am working to cultivate the same.

That said, if your Warren group can't or won't make the drive east to the Cuse, may I suggest Watkins Environmental Sciences. Andy Watkins has done a couple of inspections for me and he's really thorough.

Alan, I love Warren.  If you have a long relationship with them and this is a one off deal see if they will do the inspection and you can pay for fuel and commute time.  In my ten years of doing real estate I trust no one else besides Warren Engineering and AHA Home Inspections.  Warren is pretty inexpensive so the additional cost for the commute may end up washing out.
