Answering Service versus Voicemail

I'm considering an aswering service to gather seller information for calls that I miss due to my schedule. Currently very few leave a message on voicemail and I hate to see the calls go unanswered but I'm unable to answer a lot of the times.

These services aren't cheap so I"d love any thoughts, recommendations or opinions on if it's worth it.

thanks!

I am in the process of setting up a call answering service and it looks like if I forward my google voice calls to pat live, the calls are not going through, but if I port my # out of google voice I cannot port it back in and I may be stuck paying a ton of money to keep the number. Pat live has only given me those two options. Does any one know of an answering service that can have google voice calls forwarded to it?

Has anyone dealt with this issue?
