Bandit Sign Police

So, I've read about the infamous Bandit Sign Police. I have not had a problem with them until today, although I haven't put out too many signs either.

Question: How can they actually fine you without meeting you in person to hand you a citation? I use an VOIP messing service that forwards calls to my cell phone, but takes messages for me if I do not answer. I do not have any company information on my messages. It doesn't seem like they can do much other than complain, but am I wrong?

I do have to return calls from my cell phone though. Any suggestions on a way to return calls with VOIP or to call spoof my cell number?

    Chris -
How about not using illegal signs to promote your business?

Seriously . . . if you have to creep around with anonymous numbers and other sketchy tactics to promote your business, it probably isn't the kind that is going to bring you much credibility. There are countless other ways to market. I realize that many gurus and investors promote their use, but I'm staunchly against doing anything that can do harm to your business or to the industry in general.

I realize it may sound harsh, but these tactics are what give investors a bad name.

That's my opinion and advice -- what's next is up to you. Good luck!
