Hi @David Mijares! i did try it actually. Its very hard for me to not try things even if they cost money if i think i will at least learn something. Overall i think the program teaches a lot. At the end of the day you need to take action and be responsible for your own success. You have to take the time to see the training videos, you have to take the time to listen to the coaching calls, you have to take the time to implement what you learn. There is no hand holding and no accountability. I didn't do any deals but thats my fault. I was working full time BUT i did learn a lot and implemented how to get off market deals so that was pretty valuable.

The trouble with "guru" programs is that they are meant to enrich the guru, not you.

He knows what he knows, but no one investor "does it all".

There are other education options.

Dan how's it going? Did you ever pursue the apprentice program?

I went through the qualification aspect of the program. When it came time to discuss the initial investment it was roughly 7k not including Any marketing material needed. I declined the offer and did not proceed. The gentleman who gave me the info later sent me a link to the "pre apprentice program" roughly 1k but seems to be worth it (my opinion as a newbie with no deals under his belt yet) what I've heard and read is they base the price according to what you disclose during the interview as far as liquid cash or available credit on a credit card. I want to join his team as Phil is an expert but won't join until I have concrete proof that I will have a good experience and good outcome.

Hey, Dan,

Phill Pustejovky is actually on BP. I had spoke with someone who was trying his program and he said it was pretty expensive. There are also monthly fees. I called the program and later spoke with a salesman who implied that I was dumb for turning away this "wonderful" opportunity--it's a sales tactic, of course. "Fear of loss" is a sales tactic I learned from Phil's book.

I do think it's slightly suspicious that he has zero references at this time though. Just consider: Does someone who runs an amazing educational company really have zero people for references?

I am now connected to comprehensive REI education well beyond what any guru can offer.
