Where to house hack Las Vegas

Question

Hey guys, looking to fully occupy then eventually house hack a SFH in Las Vegas. We've been eyeballing parts of SW i.e. Spring Valley, Summerlin as well as Green Valley from afar. Targeting $400k-425k; +4 bd, +2.5ba built within past 15 years; in solid middle class community with good assigned schools K-12. No workforce housing. Any suggestions on specific neighborhoods or planned communities?

I doubt people with kids will want to house hack with you, so unless you have kids, skip the school portion. Ps. Vegas schools are among the worst in the country, find a private/charter/religous school if you do.

I’d look near casinos and hospitals. Both tend to attract steady well paying jobs that attract singles. Try to find a place with a garage for every adult, you don’t want to park outside and you don’t want someone parked behind you in the driveway. If you’re going to allow dogs check the yard do solutions as most aren’t poop friendly. Gas appliances will save you on utilities.
