Direct mail marketing in San Diego?

Hey BP fam,

A friend of mine and I are doing a door knocking wholesale campaign in San Diego. To compliment this we have contemplated doing direct mail campaign with personalized offers on each property receiving a letter. I know this market is dense with direct mail so I am not sold that this would be the best way to get leads considering the expense. But I am curious, do any of you use direct mail in SD? Any opinions on its usefulness? What is your response rate? Best vendor to use if its a good move? Any advice/insight would be valuable!

Lindsey

@Lindsey Johnson I would save your money. Direct mail does not work unless you are mailing 10K and up a month. I like that you are door knocking but are you knocking on the right doors. We are knocking on the "NOD" doors and cold calling them. I call them the low hanging fruit. Keep up those efforts and you can turn them into warm leads and listings, since you are an agent as well.
