Do I need a website for wholesaling?

I have started reaching out to people using "driving for dollars" and direct mail to possibly cash buyers. I plan on finding cash buyer other was a little later, but my question is do I need a website. if so what would I put on it?

Websites are a waste of money unless you're going to spend money on ad words to promote it.

thanks for the info. I dont plan on wholesaling for long. Just something to help me with my business start up. I know how to build websites and all but when i got ready to start i just didnt know if it was necessary. Ive been driving for dollars. I have a lead generating page i will start to promote. But thats pretty much it. I plan on keeping it simple for now.

If you plan to be in this business a long time. A website can be helpful. Using google adwords can create a lot of leads overnight. SEO (Search Engine Optimization) takes longer to generate leads, but is also a pretty passive ay to find deals.

Either way, if you do a website, make sure you know what you're doing. Or at least outsource to someone who does. Otherwise, it could be a waste of money. Instead of a huge money maker.

It's necessary to have at least 3-4 lead generation techniques to find deals.

You really only need a phone number. Talk to them directly.  Probably the best time to work out a deal when they are motivated.

You can get a free re-direct phone number on google voice.

A website isn't a bad idea, but it can also be a time waster for you, cost money, and allow the potential seller to procrastinate enough and lose interest (in my opinion).

If you want a website, make it a simple landing page. (Single page site that requests they put in their name, number, etc)
