Seller has tenants should I still try and wholesale?

Hello all!

I’m trying to get my first wholesale deal. I have been making inquiries about buying and speaking with sellers. Came across one that may be interested but they currently have tenants. Would that still be a good deal? Once the seller mentioned that I honestly was stumped and didn’t know how to respond and just told them I will run my numbers again (I didn’t know what to say) and give them a call. Thank you in advance for feedback.

I don't wholesale, but my gut tells me that people will overlook inherited tenants if the deal is good enough.
