I've owned an investment townhouse in Houston, TX 77082 for 8 years and have always had a hard time finding a reasonably priced home insurance company. Right now I'm paying $111.16/monthly through Cypress Texas Lloyds. I've been quoted by State Farm since I have my cars and home through them in Los Angeles and their rate is even higher per month. I'm looking to try and get a lower rate as you can imagine so any recommendations would be appreciated. Thank you!

I have been using spearhead insurance. 7132752784. I have switched just about everything over to them. They are a broker and will shop all insurance.
I use and recommend Affinity in Kansas City. They only do investment properties.
@Tony Duran I hate to tell you this but $1300 a year is not out of line for property insurance in Houston. I'm not saying that you can't save a few bucks by shopping around, but I don't think you'll see significant savings. High insurance costs are part of life here in Houston. We have some of the highest property insurance costs in the country. We also have some of the highest property taxes in the country.
@Fred Heller Do you have a recommendation for a reputable insurance company that'll write policy for a rental property in the Richmond, TX area? Please PM me if possible. Thanks!
