Southwest Florida End-of-Summer Fun, for Residents and Visitors

Normal 1534608772 Swfl End Of Summer Fun For Residents And Visitors

In Southwest Florida, affordable real estate isn’t the only amazing factor we have going for us. In fact, throughout the year, you can find tons of enjoyable activities to keep you busy. And many of them are also cost-effective and won’t break the bank.

Of course, as the end of summer approaches, you might be looking for a few of these fun activities. And whether you’re a SWFL homeowner or just visiting the area, each one of these will be sure to please. Best of all, they’re just as much fun alone, with a friend, or with the grandkids!

Walk One of Our Amazing Gardens

From the gardens at the Edison Ford Winter Estates to the Marie Selby Botanical Gardens, our area has so many wonderful gardens. And walking them can be a relaxing way to spend your day, as you take in the natural world. Of course, if you’re a SWFL homeowner, you also have the option of creating your very own garden on your property!

Hit the Splash Park with the Kids

Whether we’re talking about your children or the grandkids, a splash park can be a great change of pace from the beach. At the same time, this is one of those end-of-summer activities that can get all that energy out of them before heading back home.

Take a Daytrip to One of Our Coastal Cities

Sanibel, Ana Maria, Marco Island. When you own a home in Southwest Florida, you have the option of so many different daytrips. And each one of them is a little different. Of course, if you’re visiting, you can also visit some of these if you have the time.

Enjoy a Staycation Right in Your Own Backyard

But if you’re a homeowner in Southwest Florida, you can also take advantage of living in your own slice of paradise. For example, you can spend the day lounging on Fort Myers Beach. Or maybe sharing tasty drinks with friends at Ford’s Garage is your thing. Either way, this is an excellent choice!

Throw a BBQ Get-Together for Your Friends

Speaking of backyards, throwing a BBQ event is always a good time. And as we head toward the end of summer, we’ll also get that slight cool down, where the weather isn’t as humid but still sunny. This is the time that I love to have everyone over to appreciate each other’s company.

Go Shopping at the Upscale Outlets

Finally, there’s always shopping. And in Southwest Florida, you’re lucky enough to have several upscale shopping outlets with all the name brands. Since end of summer is also back to school time, this also gives you the chance to buy anything your kids or grandkids might need too!
