First of Many: The Game of Real Estate

Hello All!

I've been wanting to start my own blog for a while now.  For the longest time, blogs as a media medium have had a negative connotation as a platform where people vent about their issues and less around quality content.  Alliteration aside, blogs have the power to expand one's thought-base, understanding and expertise in various avenues.

Bringing insight and exchanging ideas with others on investing in the Colorado market has been a passion of mine for the last couple years.  I recently made the switch to real estate on a full-time basis after nearly a decade in corporate finance.  While I am new to brokerage, I am not new to the game of real estate.  Maybe it is the math nerd in me, or just being crazy competitive, but I truly view real estate as a game.  A game where there is no binary winners and losers.  A game that allows individuals to leverage their creative juices and skill-sets to come up with unique ways to generate financial wealth and independence.  Unlike other games, RE 'rules' are more like guidelines and I plan on using these guidelines to my advantage.  Whether it's multi-family, office, vacation-hacking or note investing, everyone has their own path, just like no two properties are the same.  I love playing games and the game of real estate is no exception.

I'd be lying to you if I told you I know exactly what direction this blog will take, but I can tell you there will be quality content.  From market updates, value-add opportunities to use in your own business, financial advice (although I'm not a financial advisor; ***disclaimer, disclaimer, disclaimer***) and many other cool things that I come across on my real estate journey.  I hope the future material will be as valuable to you as it will be for me.
