So how do you execute your real estate goals? It's great to say that you know, you want to achieve a million dollars you want to make a million dollars over three years or you want to make $10,000 a month as passive income through your real estate investing.
But then how do you actually execute on those goals? Well, the first thing you need to do is, as I said in other videos, are you need to put in a plan. You need to look at what the steps are that you need to execute to be able to accomplish these goals. So some of the things are going to be marketing. Marketing will be a big part of it. And when I say marketing, I don't just mean placing ads. Marketing is all about going out and making a name for yourself.
The number one thing I would recommend with any real estate investor is going out and building a personal brand. And the way you do that is through networking and networking. By going to events, networking, by participating in local forums, local meetups networking by just calling people, right?
Calling, what I'd like to do is you go into listings, you look at a listing, who's the realtor? Forget about sending them emails. Just get on the phone, pick up the phone and call these people, right? And then talk to them.
By doing so, you're establishing an awareness that you're involved in real estate investing. And then the realtor will know that and maybe give you a lead next time. Same with a mortgage broker, right? You might want to call a mortgage broker and say, listen, “I'm looking for some investors. I'm looking for some motivated sellers, or I'm looking for any properties that you think might become available.” Just let these people know that you're in the real estate game.
So you do that for a lot of the, a lot of your goals, right? So this is how you execute your goals. You put together a marketing plan, you put together a financial plan, you put together an investment strategy plan. You put together a finance plan, like a funding plan. How are you going to fund these? Are you going to do seller financing? Are you going to do vendor takebacks? Are you going to do lease options? You know, are you going to do subject twos? So executing on a plan that's aligned with your long-term goals, vision, and mission?
